Low budget film Uyyala Jampala has struck chord with the film lovers right from day one and it has been going strength to strength with each passing day. The film is doing extremely well and surpassing all the expectations with word of mouth being extremely positive. Uyyala Jampala has released in minimum screens on day one and now the theaters have doubled.
Looking at the way this film has been performing, trade experts believe that it will hold up in Sankranthi season as well. If this film does good business for ten more days then there won't be space for another medium budget during Pongal. Already two biggies will occupy maximum number of theaters and if Uyyala Jampala takes another fifty to hundred screens during the festive period, there won't be enough for other releases.
Uyyala Jampala was released on their own by the producers and they are happily their way to the banks. This film has once again proved that content rules and audience doesn't really care about the stars and masala elements if they are served with good entertainment and neat story.
