Noted Film producer and founder of Vyjayanthi Movies' Ashwini Dutt's younger daughter Priyanka Dutt tied the knot in a private affair. Priyanka married to director Nag Ashwin in a closed family wedding which was confined to family members, closed relatives of the couple.

Cupid struck both Ashwin, Priyanka when the duo working together. Priyanka has produced Ashwin's short film Yaadon Ki Baarat and his directorial feature debut Yevade Subramanyam. Apparently, it's Priyanka who put forward the proposal to marry Ashwin to which he given his nod. Ashwin, who is quite nomad, says that Priyanka took first initiative. Ashwin describes their relationship as 'matter-of-fact kind relationship'. Though they have known each other for a while, they were apparently never dated each other.

Nag Ashwin's parents Jayaram Reddy and Jayanthi Reddy are well-known doctors in Hyderabad. Ashwin's mother Dr L Jayanthi Reddy is reputed gynecologist who runs famous JJ Hospital in Kalyan Nagar of the city.
