From the way things are going on in Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone’s camp, it looks all but confirmed that, the actress would make her Hollywood debut. She will reportedly star in the film xXx: The return of Xander Cage.
xXx is a action franchise headed by Hollywood star Vin Diesel of Fast and Furious and Pitch Black fame, first film of the series release more than a decade ago in 2002. Rumors about Holly project started when Deepika left to US soon after the completion of success party of her newly released film Tamasha. A day later she posted a mysterious pic which confirmed the buzz of her meeting with Vin Diesel.
If she is officially declared as heroine, it would be a first for a Bollywood heroine to star in a mainstream Hollywood film playing a lead. In past many other actors have tried their luck but most have been crossover attempts. Only other actress to have been part of such Hollywood production was Aishwarya Rai in second Pink Panther movie but it was a limited appearance.
