Sunil caught in the 'copy' trap !

Comedian turned Hero Sunil is all set to test his luck again with Bhimavaram Bullodu, which is due for release on Feb 14. Sunil's last film as solo lead, Mr. Pellikoduku didn't fare well and he needs to score a hit with BB to extend his career as hero. This film is directed by Uday Shankar, who delivered a blockbuster in Kalisundam Ra and didn't do much after that.

Uday Shankar says that Bhimavaram Bullodu is an out and out comedy that suits Sunil to the T. 'Sunil is a timid guy from Bhimavaram, who comes to that he will die in ten days. He wants to make use of the remaining ten days of his life by fighting against rowdyism. He goes to Hyderabad and lock horns with Rowdies. Later he will come to know that he is not going to die and now he has to run for his life.' This is the storyline of BB as per Uday Shankar.

Seems like heard/seen somewhere no? Yes, this is one of the subplots in Rajendra Prasad, EVV's classic comedy 'Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu'. EVV was inspired by Hollywood comedy 'Short Time' for AAD. Now Uday Shankar has made a brand new film with the same idea. Let's see if he and Sunil could pull off a success out of this old storyline.
